Ferrari 312 B2 |
Another very smart Corgi F1 car from the early Seventies. This series of Formula 1 cars is really very good, well modelled and interesting in the way they make the driver the hero. According to Wikipedia: "The Ferrari 312B was a series of Formula One racing car models, designed and built by Scuderia Ferrari. It was the successor to the Ferrari 312 and was used from 1970 until early 1975. The early 1970s saw the return of success to the Scuderia; Jacky Ickx returned and was joined by Clay Regazzoni. " The car as modelled is the one in which Regazzoni came third in the 1971 South African Grand Prix The Ferrari 312 B2 was added to the range in 1973 and remained in production up to 1975, there are no listed variations; it is always red with white trim, RN5 and the driver has an orange & blue helmet. It was re-released in the post Mettoy era as part of the Donnington Collection |
