JCB Crawler Loader

The JCB Crawler Loader (1110) was designed in the UK but produced for Corgi Toys in Hong Kong. It was released in June 1976 and remained in the range until the Corgi bankruptcy in 1983 with a change of colours in 1980. There is a knob to raise and lower the bucket and lever with which to tip it. The Corgi Toys releases get surprisingly high prices.

The original colours are yellow with a white cab and a red loader bucket. In 1980 a number of the Corgi Toys construction vehicles, including this one, were re-released using graphics and colours (orange & grey) for a fictional construction company called Block Construction, the model number remained the same.

There are a lot of colours listed in the price guides however I suspect that they are all post-Mettoy releases and that the Corgi Toys version was always yellow, white & red or the later orange 'Block Construction'. I've found one post Mettoy release the KS Plant Hire version from 2002.
