The 1:36 scale Peugeot 505 was released in red and red with silver lower body under the old Corgi Toys brand, in a set with a caravan and as a Tour de France cycle race support car. There were some releases in the post-Mettoy era and I believe the Pompiers version below to be one of these - and the Cycle Race Support car GS13 Tour de France February 1981, deleted in 1982, The Tour de France set has: Peugeot 505 with boot rack & bikes, 2x further bikes & riders, team manager figure 373 Sedan Released March 1981, deleted in 1983, red with silver lower body or black trim GS1 Car & Caravan Set Released May 1982, deleted in 1983 450 Taxi Released February 1983 for the French export market, I suspect it was also sold in the UK as they are not rare at all |
