The 1:36 scale Renault 11 was released in cream, metallic blue, maroon, metallic mauve and yellow in 1983 just before Mettoy went under. It is branded as 'Electronic', but I've never worked out what it does. The car continued to be released in the post Mettoy era and has been revived as part of the James Bond collection after being featured in the movie 'From a View to a Kill'. The Definitive Bond Collection car was released in 2001 and the Ultimate Bond Collection car was released in 2002, I've not seen it in the Directors Cut series of Bond cars released in 2006 so I guess it has finally been put to bed. |
