Corgi Toys GS46; All Winners Gift Set

This is the third version of the All Winners set still doggedly hanging on to the '63 Stingray, now present in both its street form and its stock car version. The Marcos and the Mustang are both replaced from the last release and we have a little timing issue to resolve. The Great Book of Corgi Pocket Guide puts this set in December 1967 and has the MGB Competition model, number 345 being added to the set. This appears to be an error as there never was an MGB Competition model, 345 was the MGC, which BMC released in 1967, but Corgi didn't make it until January 1969, incidentally the same year it was deleted by BMC.

So it appears (according to the Pocket Guide) that the MGC was available in this gift set 13 months before it was available as a single model. This release of the All Winners Gift Set was introduced in December 1967. Its removal from sale is not recorded but I suspect it was just available for Christmas 1967.
