Corgi Toys 282; Morris Mini-Cooper Rally; White & Black, Racing Stripe

It took me a while to work out what this is. It is the Mini-Cooper Magnifique from 1968 being given the WhizzWheels treatment. The sunroof has been removed and it has been given a competition finish, with a racing stripe and a black bonnet. It should have racing number 177 on the doors as a nod to the 1967 Monte Carlo Mini - either that or they had some stickers left over. It remained in production from 1971 to 1974 and sales were fairly low so prices are a bit higher. They are not very common, like many of the WhizzWheels warm-overs you just do not see so many of them, and those you do see tend to be pretty much bashed up.
