Corgi 811; James Bond Moon Buggy |
|
As featured in Sean Connery's last movie as James Bond Diamonds are Forever, this is the getaway vehicle he used in the desert outside Las Vegas. Book value (mint and boxed) is £200, this one sold for £2.85 in 2013, clearly the market is not yet ready for it. Its actually a very toy-like non-realistic version of the Moon Buggy from the movie. The version in the Hachette James Bond Part Work is much closer to the original. The example below has lost the grappling arms. The James Bond Moon Buggy was released in June 1972 and remained in the range for one year. This Corgi Toy was sourced in October 2012 from eBay |
