This road roller carries on one of those traditional slots in the Matchbox range that was there at the beginning of the brand - a steam roller - the name sticks, though the steam is long gone.

The Bomag Road Roller was made from 1979 to 1982 and was always yellow, some of them have all black driving wheels, some have yellow hubs, neither is rare or sought after, nor do they attract any kind of premium.
