Matchbox/Lesney 68a; Austin Army Wireless Truck; Military Green, Black Plastic Wheels

The Austin K9 Radio Truck was in the range from 1959 and remained in production until 1965. It remained fundamentally unchanged throughout. The early models had crimped axles and knobbly wheels, while later versions got finer tread wheels and the corners of the windscreen were squared off. Silver trimmed headlamps are a sign of an early release. None of this has any effect on value. However E or D type boxes get a premium.
