Matchbox/Lesney 43b; Aveling-Barford Tractor Shovel; Yellow, Yellow Loader, Red Base, Red Driver

Here we have a four wheel drive shovel loader that was in the Matchbox 1-75 range and the King-Size range too. These are found in mixtures of yellow and red. The body is always yellow. The driver can be red or yellow as can be the base and or shovel.

The Aveling Barford Tractor Shovel, 43b, was first released in 1962. It remained in the range until 1968.The most commonly found version has a yellow shovel and a red driver and base. Keep your eyes open for yellow bodywork & red driver, base & shovel, also the one with yellow body, driver & shovel.
