Matchbox/Lesney 48b; Sports Boat and Trailer; White Hull, Red Deck, Dark Blue Trailer, BPW

The box says Sports Boat and Trailer, but I have seen it referred to as a KrisKraft. The trailer is always blue, it can be dark blue or light blue. The boat is plastic and always red and either white or cream. It can be red over white/cream or white/cream over red. The trailer wheels are either black or grey. The outboard is plated in either silver or gold colour.

The Sports boat and trailer, 48b, was released in 1961 and was deleted in 1966. The value and rarity is based on the trailer variation. Grey wheels are the thing to look for. Dark blue trailer with black wheels is the common variant.
