The Ford Prefect was added to the range in 1956 and was deleted in 1961. Most of these are beige with metal wheels. Part way through the production run the wheels were swapped for plastic and then the colour of the car changed to light blue or light olive green. The early beige models have hand coloured silver brightwork and red tail lamps, this was changed for mask sprayed later in the run.
Plastic wheels models get a premium and more so in the blue and green colourways.
