Matchbox/Lesney 68d; Cosmobile; Blue & Yellow

There were some pretty wild designs around at Lesney in the seventies but this stands out. What is it? It's a single seater van with pipes on the roof. Do we have an anti-social plumber here? I'm sorry but I'll stick with Dyno-Rod thank you.

The Cosmobile (sounds like a car for Les Dawson) struggled into the range at 68d in 1975 where it lurked until 1980. It is blue or avocado (God help us) or red or dark blue according to vintage with some variations in colour of windows, base and interior. None are particularly rare but look out for dark blue or avocado ones as they tend to be a bit more sought after, just.
