Matchbox/Lesney 64d; Fire Chief Car; Red (Superfast)

It sometimes seems that Matchbox were incapable of producing a recognisable model of any known road vehicle back in the mid-seventies. They usually had a Fire Chief car in the range and between 1976 and 1979 this was what they offered. Not any car I can recognise.

There are no variations listed on this one. They are always red (obviously) and always the same in every other detail. They are also right at the bottom end of the food chain as regards value.
