Matchbox 9d; Cabin Cruiser & Trailer
The 9e Javelin was made from 1972 to 1982, although it
was only in
the core range up to 1978, releases after this date were all twin packs or
overseas releases. From 1972 to 1978 the core range car was available in metallic green and in metallic light blue. These cars all have opening doors, the bonnet air scoop is either
black or plated silver and interiors are yellow, white or blue.
The post-deletion models all have their doors cast shut. They are found
in shades of gloss and metallic blue, dark metallic green or red.
There are eleven variations listed and values vary from very low for
commonly found versions like metallic blue and metallic lime green with
the black air scoop, to really very good for hard to find versions like
metallic lime green with blue or white seats or with a plated air scoop. |
