Matchbox 1-75 Range

Not identifiable as any particular make of coach the Lesney Airport Coach was first released in 1977 and remained in production up to 1983. For most of its production life, up to 1981 it was always white over metallic blue with labels for either British Airways, Lufthansa or American Airlines. These can be found with variations in window colour and interior colour. Between 1981 and 1983 a raft of other versions and promotional models were released.

The roof always remained white plastic but the body could be red, orange blue or white. Labels included: Alitalia, TWA, Quantas, Braniff, Australian and a number of non-airline related promos such as Stork margarine.

A few are worth looking out for, Lufthansa on white, Stork SB, Orange with 'Schulbus' and Braniff among them.
