Matchbox 4g; 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air / '57 Chevy

This is another Lesney that carried on after the crash in 1982. The Lesney version, 4g, was made from 1980 to 1983 and was originally a sort of pale pinky purple and latterly red with 'Cherry Bomb' tampos. If you have a look at mb-db.co.uk (an excellent reference site for later Matchbox models) you will see variants of it in a range of similar custom paint jobs released in the post-Lesney era. at the time of writing I'd found 34 versions and I'm sure there are many more
