Matchbox 4d; Dodge Cattle Truck

Matchbox just loved the Dodge K Series truck, and confusingly there are three cattle trucks that use this cab (and a crane). Two of the cattle trucks are stake trucks too, this one is a three axle truck and the other is No.71 which is the two axle version. The third is No.37 which has solid sides and a drop-down ramp on a two axle chassis.

Stake Truck, 4d, was introduced to the range in 1966 and in its regular wheels variant can be seen with a green back as here or a slightly harder to find blue back from the early production. It got Superfast wheels in 1970 and carried on in production until 1972. The one to look out for is the Superfast version with a bright yellow cab.
