Matchbox 1g; Dodge Challenger

This car,1g, was released in 1976 and continued in production until 1983. From 1976 until 1979 it was painted red with a white roof. It can be found with silver, white or red interiors. Red interior being slightly harder to find. From 1980 to 1982 it was blue, with red seats and white roof, this version is fairly common.

The last and hardest to find version is Revin Rebel which is orange with either a blue roof or slightly rarer with a white roof. Having the matching box makes a big difference to value too. I sold one of these in the box with a picture of the red car for £15 and one with a picture of the Revin Rebel car for £105

Production continued past the Lesney era and there are a number of foreign made examples known
