Matchbox 26c; GMC Tipper

There is only one colour scheme for this one; red cab, green chassis and silver tipping body. It spanned the introduction of Superfast wheels and as a regular wheels model always has black plastic wheels.

The GMC tipper truck (26c) was introduced as a regular wheels model in 1968. In 1970 it was converted to Superfast wheels and was deleted in 1972. The only variation with a value is the Superfast 4 open spoke wheel version which attracts a very small premium. Ramsay mentions a regular wheels version without windows which attracts a premium, but with a tipping cab the suspicion would be that the glass had been lost or removed.
