Matchbox 17g; Leyland Titan Bus

The Leyland Titan Bus (17g) replaced the Londoner in 1982, just before the Lesney bankruptcy, and production continued under the new ownership. The price guides don't list too many versions as most of them were released later and were made overseas. The website which shows post-Lesney Matchboxes, mb-db.co.uk, has about thirty variations of colour and advertising and I'm sure there are many more.

Most versions are of very low value - Look for a Greek issue with 'Matchbox No.1 Montepna' which is seen in blue and white or in red.
